Karen has lived with Type 1 diabetes for 38 years — since she was just 11 years old. For over a decade, our team has been raising money for BreakThroughT1D to fund life-changing research. This year, we're going bigger.
Donate NowType 1 diabetes is an autoimmune disorder that can strike anyone, at any age. There are no days off — it means needles, sensors, pump changes, and constant vigilance, every single day. Despite remarkable advances in technology, pricks are still very much required.
That's why we started team #NoMorePricks. Through the incredible generosity of friends, family, and community, our small but mighty team has raised over $76,000 for BreakThroughT1D research — and we're not done yet.
This year, we're expanding our campaign with a goal of raising $15,000, which will push us past $100,000 in lifetime fundraising. We'll be walking at the BreakThroughT1D Walk in Philadelphia this November — and we'd love your support.
We're building something special. In the meantime, you can support our team by donating through our BreakThroughT1D page or reaching out at info@nomorepricks.org.
